In and Outs of ME!

  2. What gender/age are your children? 4yo Male and 1yo Male
  3. Will you be having more children? Yes, indeedy
  4. Where do you live? Perth, Western Australia
  5. Why is where you live good for your family? easy going place to live, nice people the ususal
  6. How would you describe your parenting style? Casual and fair but firm. both my children have been ON DEMAND sleeping and feeding too.
  7. If people saw you in the street, how would they describe you? Bubbly, warm and happy
  8. What’s the best piece of parenting advice you got? Go with the flow, no two babies are the same so sometimes you have to try everything to find what's right for your baby and you!
  9. If you met someone else with children the same age as yours, what would you be talking about? What they're eating (types of food e.g what veges and what kind like pureed and finger foods etc) also possibly their current milestones
  10. What is the stupidest thing anyone said to you as a parent? I shouldn't give up breastfeeding, don't stop just keep trying and trying (for me this made me stress and worry unnecessarily and caused a slowly growing gap between my son and I as I was confused as with what to do and why my milk supply just wasn’t working. I tried everything I possibly could and it just became less and less each day. It wasn't a decision I didn't want to make)
  11. Can you share your favourite restaurant for families? curently its Kalis Bros, but higs breath cafe to Hans are always a favorite
  12. What is one sentence you never thought you’d say? Put off having kids for as long as possible!!!!!! (due to the labour - gahhh)- but then again I know all would agree that it is so worth it
  13. Tell us something quirky about your children. Man, where do i start, they are so quirky, my youngest shakes his head side to side for "no" when we say its bed time or do you want something, hes just adorable
  14. What is the best thing about being a parent? Full time mother i get to see everything-getting to spend so much time watching them grow, helping to shape them and seeing their reactions to new experiences, I often find that the most exciting part! (new things like sounds, objects, shapes, colours, foods...)
  15. What is the worst thing about being a parent? weird question, theres no "worst part" for me
  16. What did you do before you had children?i was in school, doing my year 10 certificate, ready to leave at the end of the year to go into childcare, (who wouldve known it was to be my own bub!)
  17. How have your own parents influenced how you parent? My parents have no infuenced me parenting wise at all...in a positive mannor anyway, grew up with a pretty shonky childhood, want my childrens to be better than mine and it already is, made alot of changes so they have the best and they do!
  18. What’s one thing people might not know about you? a few things i guess, not stuff thats public knowledge
  19. Describe your favourite parenting moment. so many things between the two
  20. Where do you see yourself in five years? own home, 7 year marriage anniversary with my hubby, 2 children in school, and hopefully another bubby

the worst day!

I have had quite possibly the worst day in the history of parenthood
my 4yo has been a horror today! he has done just about everything to wreck ruin, scream
yell and tantrum at just about everything thats needed to be done today!
Yes call me a bad parent if you will i get my 4 year old to tidy his room and make his bed, dont like it BITE ME! , but i do, i believe it gives him a sense of responsibility, i hate snobby kids who grow up not knowing how todo anything for themselves! Anyway, back on topic, i asked my son Tyler hey mate could you tidy you room, and he ran off , i couldnt find him for 5 minutes, then i said well its time out for running away and he had a huge tantrum!, then i said well youl be in there longer and well guess what another tantrum, i made him his favorite lunch consisting of a ham sandwhich, some chopped up apples and watermelons, well i guess today he didnt want it and threw it on the ground, 5 second rule i picked it up and said well your going to have this or nothing and he then proceded to throw it again, which all this is taking place my peaceful 1 year old is sleeping and did so for 4 or so hours *JOY* ...after all the drama passed he tried to knock over the xmas tree, climbed into my 1year olds cot and then went and hid up with my mother in law (she lives upstairs) UGHHHH .....im putting his behaviour down to not sleeping that well last night, and he was up at 6 this morning, who knows, all i want todo is go to bed, and its 5.44pm...go figure? well i feel somewhat better after rambling on about my completely horrible day, heres for 2moro?
